Autumn is the richest moment in the floral year and almost nobody uses it. Dahlias in deep burgundy and rust, grasses that catch the light, seed heads, branches turning colour.
You will build a loose, asymmetrical arrangement in a vessel, learning how to give a piece movement rather than symmetry, and how to work with material that has its own direction instead of forcing it into a shape.
It will last around a week at home, and the dried elements will carry on much longer.
